It starts in Italy, roughly once a month. A few days spent going through rails in person, in shops and warehouses we have known for years. Nothing is bought from a photograph or a wholesale list. Every piece is picked up, turned inside out, held against the light and chosen by hand before it travels north.

Behind all of it is one person: Julius, based in 's-Hertogenbosch. He makes those trips, buys every piece, checks every piece, photographs every piece and answers every message. When you email us, that is who replies.
How it started
It started with a love for Italian labels. Stone Island, C.P. Company, Moncler, Ten C. Houses that treat a jacket as an engineering problem, dye it after it is made, put a badge on the sleeve and expect you to know what the badge means. Brands where the interesting things are not in the current season but in the archive, and where the best pieces already exist, somewhere in somebody's wardrobe, waiting to be found.
That started as buying pieces he wanted himself. It became a habit, then a route, then a business, and eventually a shop with its own address. Alongside it he studies history, which is a strange match on paper and a fairly obvious one in practice. Both come down to the same instinct: look closely at an object, work out where it came from, and find out whether the story it tells about itself is true.
What we sell
Three things, and the product page always says which of the three you are looking at.
- Pre-loved. Worn pieces, described honestly. Every flaw is photographed and written down.
- Vintage and archive. Older seasons that are no longer produced. This is the part we enjoy most and the part that takes the most work to find.
- New overstock. Unworn, current or recent stock, bought from retailers clearing space. New with tags, often early in the season, regularly at 40 percent off retail and sometimes at half.
Where it comes from
Italy first. Those monthly trips are the backbone of the stock, and they are the reason the rails here look different from everyone else's: pieces that were never distributed in the Netherlands, archive seasons that stayed where they were made, colourways you will not find on a Dutch resale site.

Then the overstock. Closer to home we work from a long list of retailers across the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium, shops that need the space and sell us what is left. It is why a piece can turn up here early in the season, brand new with its tags still on, at 40 percent below what the shop on the high street is asking for the same thing, and now and then at half. Same garment, same season, same tags. Just not the same price.
Alongside both we buy directly from private sellers who want to move something on. That network is the business. It is why the stock changes every week, and it is why we can trace where a piece came from instead of guessing.
If you have something to sell, we are buying. See Sell to Us.
On authenticity

Every piece is checked before it goes online. Recent items are verified through the brand's own QR or NFC tag. Vintage and older pieces, which have no chip to scan, are inspected by hand against the details that are specific to their season: the badge and its stitching, the neck tag, the wash label, the season code, the hardware.
In the whole history of Timeless Fits, not one piece we have sold has turned out to be anything other than genuine. We intend to keep that record, which is why anything we are not certain about does not go online at all. The full process is on the authenticity page, and if you want to see the tags of a specific piece up close before you buy, ask and we will send the photos.
The shop

Timeless Fits is not only a website. There is a physical shop at Veemarktkade 8 in 's-Hertogenbosch, open in principle every day, always by appointment, so that when you come the rails are ready and the pieces you have been looking at online are waiting for you to try. Make an appointment by email, Instagram DM or WhatsApp.
Everything else ships from here, across Europe and beyond, packed by the same person who carried it back from Italy.
