Stone Island Nylon Metal Flock Jacket – Navy – Size 3XL

A Stone Island jacket in navy, cut in Nylon Metal Flock, one of the fabrics that came out of the brand's own textile research and one of the reasons collectors buy Stone Island in the first place.

The base is Nylon Metal, a nylon yarn with a trilobate structure, grey in the weft and white in the warp, which is where the metallic, slightly iridescent sheen comes from. That nylon is then bonded to an adhesive film and flocked on the inside with micronized cotton, so the face reads like technical nylon and the inside feels soft and dry against a knit. The finished garment goes through a double dye, which is why the nylon, the flock and the trims all take the colour to a different depth, and the dye recipe carries an anti-drop agent, so the surface sheds water. Wind resistant.

High stand collar with a concealed hood, a two way zip up the front, two welt chest pockets and two pockets at the hips. The removable compass badge sits on the left sleeve on two press studs.

Wear it with a dark blue wash jean and a navy knit underneath, zip half open.
